What we send, and to whom
All messages come from SEOForger LLC (doing business as SEOForger Web Agency), from our business number. They are transactional: nothing promotional is ever sent.
- Login codes to a business owner signing in to the SEOForger app. One text per sign-in.
- Lead alerts to a business owner when their website receives an enquiry. One text per enquiry.
- Missed-call alerts to a business owner when their business number rings out. One text per missed call.
- Booking confirmations to a prospect who scheduled a website-review call with us by phone: the meeting link, and a reminder the day before.
Message frequency varies with the activity of the business; a typical owner receives a few texts a week. Message and data rates may apply. Examples:

How business owners opt in
A business owner gives us their mobile number when they become a client and agrees, in our terms of service, to receive login codes and lead and missed-call alerts by text. Every time they sign in to the app at seoforger.com/app, the same consent is shown under the phone field before the code is sent. This is that screen:
Enter the mobile number on your account and we will text you a code.
Only the owner's own number, or a team member's number the owner added in the app, ever receives these alerts.
How prospects opt in
We call local businesses to offer a free website. When someone wants to see it, we schedule a short website-review call with them during that same phone call and ask, in these words: “Is it OK if we text the meeting link and a reminder to this number?” We record the answer with the booking and only text if they said yes. The booking screen our team uses reminds them to ask:
The confirmation text is the only message a prospect receives, plus one reminder the day before the call, and each one carries opt-out instructions.
Texts our clients send to their own customers
Websites we build include a contact form and a chat widget with an unticked consent box that names the business, so a customer who wants a text reply can ask for one. Those replies, and missed-call text-backs, come from the client's own business number, in the client's name, under the client's own carrier registration, which we set up for them. They are not sent from SEOForger's number and are not covered by this page beyond that description.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number; you will get one confirmation and nothing more. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Stopping texts does not close your account: login codes can be sent again if you reply START, and the app and email keep working.
Mobile numbers and text-messaging consent are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See the privacy policy.
